Isaac Guan

Isaac regularly appears in a broad range of criminal proceedings, particularly in indictable crime matters, including committal, plea hearings, summary jurisdiction application, bail application, contested hearing and CCO contravention. Isaac also appears in VCAT proceedings.

Isaac was called to the Hong Kong Bar in 2018 and had been a public prosecutor in Hong Kong for 5 years, prosecuting indictable crime in the higher courts, firstly in the District Court and later in the High Court. As a prosecutor, Isaac had advised and handled a wide spectrum of serious offences. In Hong Kong, Isaac appeared as sole counsel at all court levels from the Magistrates’ Court to the Court of Appeal and at the Coroner’s Court.

He graduated from the City University of Hong Kong with First Class Honours in Bachelor of Laws and was the recipient of the Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarship.
